Submission Guidlines
SIXTHSCALE is currently seeking submissions of content DIRECTLY relating to the 1:6 scale modeling and customizing hobby.
We are interested in Articles, Tutorials, Images, Reviews, Sewing patterns, etc...
If you always wanted to have your work published, this just might be your chance.
Content that has been previously posted on the various online forums is welcome and encouraged.
Do not submit content unless you are the owner/originator of said content.
If you are submitting photos of your customs or kitbashes please consider including a short (or long) writeup of what you did and where the parts came from.
Submissions should include your name (and/or alias, basically whatever name you want your work credited to) and a valid mailing address.
Images intended for publication should be submitted as large files if possible since the books are printed at 300dpi. The higher the Resolution/Megapixels the better

Due to the sheer volume of email messages we receive we must ask that you NOT send a message asking us if it is ok for you to send in a submission. Otherwise we spent several days replying to mountains of emails just to say "yes , send it in."
YES your submissions are always welcome! that's why we ask for them in the first place :)
However we make no guarantees that all work submitted will be published. As with all publications that accept submissions, some stuff, for any of a variety of reasons, just doesn't end up getting used. We do hold on to submissions that we like though and even if we don't use it for one book it just might end up in the next.
Some things that will increase your chances of getting published:
-Unique and interesting subject matter.
-Clear and well lit pictures.
-Well written and informative text.
-Innovative and original techniques.
Payment
If we print your full length article, photo story or tutorial, or if we use your work on the cover, you will receive your choice of either a free Full Color, Saddle-Stitched Magazine Format Edition Print copy , or a free Full Color PDF "e-book" digital copy of SIXTHSCALE.
For simple picture submissions or tiny articles. you will receive a free "ebook copy"
Due to the High costs involved in offering free copies, we always reserve the right to substitute digital PDF versions of the book if we deem it necessary.
INTERNATIONAL SUBMISSIONS:
Because of the rising and often insane cost of shipping outside the United States, and because we've had problems with packages wandering through international postal limbo for months on end, We can no longer offer free Printed copies to addresses outside the United States. If you live outside the US and agree to pay for the shipping costs yourself we will send a printed copy, but we can not be responsible for lost, damaged or misdirected packages.
Otherwise all international content contributors receive a free Digital "e-book" copy.
If any of these terms are not acceptable to you then please do not submit any content.
